Back to Lee In Ah, she wants to be together with Jin Woo in the truth discovery. She visits Jin Woo’s father and also feels deeply sympathized for him. When seeing that the Alzheimer disease of Jin Woo’s father is in a serious stage, she becomes out of control and rushes to the responsible doctor’s office to complaint. On the way leaving the prison, she meets Jin Woo but she does not let him know the reason why she comes there.
An additional piece of information about the witness of 4 years ago is found. She is Ms. Jeonju, who provided untrue depositions at the court that year. According to what she said 4 years ago, she found Mr. Seo Jae Hyuk (Jin Woo’s father) acting as trying to hide something like the weapon on purpose. As soon as informed that news, Jin Woo immediately drives to that woman’s house. The woman persistently denies providing the false testimony. Then he comes towards her daughter and tells her to contact him if her mother changes her mind.

Several years have passed, but the image of the beloved father always appears in Jin Woo’s memories: a good-natured and hard- working man that saves all of his love for his son. However, Jin Woo feels so painful because of his inability to make his dad remember him. It seems that every time Jin Woo comes to the prison to visit his dad, he is just recognized as a strange lawyer by his dad and they keep making repeated conversations of the two strangers. Once, among many Jin Woo’s visits, his dad asks him “What kind of person was I?”. Jin Woo answers his father with tears “Mr. Seo Jae Hyuk, you were the best father in the world”.

For this Episode, Nam Gyu Man strongly shows himself to be an extremely cruel person. He wants to erase all threats around him, and even wants to kill witnesses of the previous murder. Ms. Jeonju is one of those victims. Nam Gyu Man orders his accomplices to kill her and blame the murder crime on Jin Woo with the intention to arrest him.

COMMENTS:

The scenes about memories of Jin Woo and his dad are really touching and even make me burst into tears. Although Jae Hyuk suffers a hard life, he saves all of his love for his dear son. Two people live in a small house but full of happiness. Jin Woo is a good son, too. He has never forgotten to revenge and prove his dad’s innocence. I much agree with a sentence from the script of the film “memory remains in the heart, not in the brain”.
Moreover, I am strongly impressed by the nearly last scene when Jin Woo jumps down from the windows. What an amazing scene!
